It all started in a driveway.
We were founded in 2018 by Nick Fenselau, with only a wash bucket and a driveway. With one goal in mind Nick’s Detail became a reality! Nick’s Detail is an automotive detailing service located in Sunnyvale, CA. We are a team of car enthusiasts passionate about sharing our love of cars with our customers. We are certified detailers and well versed in paint correction, paint protection, and ceramic coatings.
We labor over every detail to make sure your vehicle and satisfaction is met. Exterior & Interior, and ceramic coatings, jobs are not cheap, but they are an investment in the value of your vehicle. We walk customers through the entire process, providing customer education and setting expectations for what you can expect before we lay a hand on your car. We take pride in ensuring every customer is satisfied no matter what!

Founder, Master Detailer, Owner
Nick started detailing in 2015, cleaning his 2008 Honda Civic after getting frustrated with it just being detailed by someone who overlooked the details. Over the next three years, he dabbled in detailing while going to school for product design. While he’s detailing and running Nick’s Detail, he is also a footwear designer at Ariat.
